Harry Potter - Harajuku Tokyo

Our team is proud to have brought a touch of magic to the streets of Harajuku, Tokyo with this animated Harry Potter window display. Tasked with creating a multilayed magical display that brings the forbidden forest to life whilst also blending digital displays within scenic prop boarders to add an additional layer of wonder.

The animation content features many characters and creatures from the original books that project their own personalities over the shop to create memorable moments and draw the attention of shoppers. The animated characters include; Buckbeak the hippogriff, The Ford Anglia car, Grawp the giant, Thestral creatures, Hagrid on his motorbike, Hedwig the owl, The golden snitch, Spiders with Arragog the giant spider creature, The stag patronus with Dementors and many more. Each animation was storyboarded and sequenced from scratch by our in-house animation department. The content also includes seasonal specific scenes that play at different times throughout the year including: Winter, New Years and Halloween. These updates keep the content relevant and incorrage repeated visits to the store.

In addition to the animation content, Technically Crative also specified and installed the hardware for the display to ensure a high quality visual and modular playback capability. The team also provided AV support for the store including digital menu boards.
